Westway Bed & Breakfast Homestay

West Coast Paradise

ABOUT
John and Wayne welcome you to their home on the stunning West Coast.

Just minutes from Greymouth, Westway is situated in a native forest clad valley. An historic tunnel on the property dates from 1904 when New Zealand's first state-owned coalmine operated further up the valley. There are private places in the garden where you can appreciate nature and the tranquility of Westway.

We are only 5 minutes drive from the long sandy beach at Point Elizabeth and the start of our wonderful coastal road.

We have a friendly and relaxing lifestyle and we take pleasure in sharing our local knowledge, and in creating an environment that visitors can enjoy.

Complimentary transport can be provided when appropriate.

Our policy is to have only one booking at a time, which can include one room or all three so please call or email us to discuss your future stay at Westway.

Come and let us spoil you.

Middle Room

This is the largest room, which is eight steps up from the living area. It has an outlook over the gardens and up the hill to the lookout. This room features a queen bed and a single bed, and the bathroom is ensuite.

Lower Room

This room has a queen bed and private bathroom across the hall. The room opens out onto the verandah, which is great if you want to wander in the garden in the moonlight, or see the glow worms.

Upper Room

At the top of the house is the upper room, which is warm and sunny and looks down on the garden and ponds. Set-up with twin beds and a shared bathroom with the middle room, this room is best utilised for a couple with one or two children.
